Connersville man charged with rape after incident at healthcare facility

(CONNERSVILLE, Ind.) – A Connersville man is facing rape and strangulation charges after an incident at a healthcare facility. 

Fayette County deputies were called to the Connersville facility for a report of an injured female on Friday. 

Investigators did not provide specific details but said 44-year-old Justin Palmer was arrested. 

Palmer has been charged with Rape while in possession of deadly weapon, Criminal Confinement, Strangulation, Intimidation, and Interference with reporting of a crime.

He is currently behind bars with a bond set at $450,000.
