Crews quickly replace washed out road in Jennings County

(ZENAS, Ind.) – A portion of road that was flooded out in Jennings County has been quickly replaced.
The heavy rains washed out the bridge on East County Road 1100 North in the area of Zenas on Wednesday night.
It’s a dead end road but the washout prevented residents like Colby Rathburn from making it to his home.
"It’s by the grace of God I didn’t go home when I was supposed to last night, we would’ve been driving through there when it would’ve collapsed,” Rathburn told The 812 on Thursday morning.
Rathburn said Dave O’ Mara Contractors stopped by and built a temporary replacement this afternoon.
“Thank God it was a quick fix,” Rathburn added.
