DCCF continues new pool dollar-for-dollar match

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Local organizations still have an opportunity to support the new Greensburg pool project before the end of the month.

The Decatur County Community Foundation (DCCF) has been offering a dollar-for-dollar match for any donations for the completion of the new pool. 

DCCF has about $100,000 remaining of the match money and their initiative is expected to conclude on February 28. 

The dollar-for-dollar match program has been supported by Napoleon State Bank, the Alma Taylor Foundation, Elwood Staffing, Milestone, LTD, O’Mara Foods, and other organizations and private individuals. 

The pool currently has reached $3,744,429 of its $4.5M goal.

The proposed 9,000-square-foot pool will resemble the footprint of the former pool. It will include a zero entry for accessibility, a splash pad, a 4-flume slide, and a family slide for multiple users to ride together.

Construction on the new pool is expected to be complete this summer.
