DCMH Athlete of the Week: Mallory Eaglin

Leading all of Indiana in RBI's

(MILAN, Ind.) – A Milan softball player is dominating at the plate so far this season. 

Mallory Eaglin has the most RBI’s in the entire state of Indiana. 

The junior has 21 RBI’s and is batting .529 after 13 games so far. 

She earned the Max Preps Indiana Athlete of the Week earlier this month after she had her 100th career hit during a 3-3 performance against Fairview. 

Eaglin has verbally committed to Mount St. Joseph to continue her softball career. 

She announced her commitment by saying, “I would like to thank my family for all the sacrifices they have made in the past years and for always believing in me. I would also like to thank my coaches and teammates that I have had over the years for believing in me and pushing me, wouldn't be possible without any of them."

Eaglin and the Lady Indians will be back in action at Switzerland County tonight.
