(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital is continuing their support of local schools.
DCMH recently held two after-hours events that brought together students, families and hospital staff members.
Those events raised a total of $2,100 which the hospital donated to Greensburg Schools, North Decatur, South Decatur and St. Mary’s School.
“It was inspiring to see students join in, knowing their participation would benefit their classmates and school programs while also completing an important step for athletic involvement,” said Rex McKinney, DCMH President & CEO. “This is just one of the many ways DCMH partners with our community to support health and wellness.”
The events also provided a way for students to complete their sports physicals.
The physicals were completed by DCMH providers Dr. Mary McCullough, Dr. Noel Mungcal, Dr. Jami Rayles, and Nurse Practitioner Jill Prickel, with support from more than 20 additional DCMH team members who volunteered their time.
