(WESTPORT, Ind.) – Decatur County Memorial Hospital provided free flu vaccines and health resources during the Westport Health & Business Expo this past weekend.
The free event brought Westport residents together with healthcare professionals as well as local businesses.
DCMH provided flu vaccines for those 6-months and older as well as high-dose options for senior citizens.
In addition to the vaccination clinic, several DCMH departments were on-site to share health resources and connect with the community, including DCMH’s Cancer Care & Infusion Services, Decatur County EMS, Family Medicine, Immediate Care Clinic, Westport Clinic, and Wound Care Clinic.
Guests also had a free lunch provided by DCMH and prepared by the Westport Kiwanis Club.
“We’re proud to be part of a community that values care and connection,” said Rex McKinney, President and CEO of DCMH. “Each time we come together, we strengthen the relationships that define who we are as a community.”
