UPDATE: Family has been located, coroner says.

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Coroner’s Office is hoping to locate the next of kin for someone they believe to be a former Cincinnati Police Officer. 

Chief Deputy Coroner Tara Bailey said they hope to find the next of kin for 58-year-old Cynthia Lynn Edwards. 

Bailey said Cynthia Lynn Edwards was previously known as Cynthia Lynn Suiter, before her name changed in 2021. 

“She is a former Cincinnati Police Officer. She was born in Louisville, Ky. Last known address was in Aurora, before that she lived on Bellaire Court in Lawrenceburg, before that in Cincinnati,” Bailey wrote. 

Bailey said Cynthia also had a residence at some point in Sabina, Ohio. 

“She was adopted at a very early age. Birth mother may still be living. Father deceased. I believe she was married at one time when she lived on Simpson Street in Cincy around 2006,” she added.
