(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County raised $30,933 during their recent golf tournament.
The Tee Off ‘Fore Ta-Tas event raised money for women in need to receive annual mammograms.
There were 45 teams who participated and the Honda team won the Course Games Award while Rehabilitation Services secured the People’s Choice Award.
“Tee Off ‘Fore’ Ta-Tas is our community coming together with hope, compassion, and determination,” said Mandy Lohrum, Hospital Foundation Director. “Every sponsorship and every dollar raised brings us closer to ensuring every woman receives the care she needs.”
Funds raised allow DCMH to provide preventive mammogram screenings to the community. These screenings are vital to early detection and play a critical role in the effective treatment of breast cancer.
