(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is reminding drivers of increased traffic on some county roads due to construction on U.S. 421 South.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is conducting a culvert replacement project through July.
Here is the unofficial route that the sheriff’s department recommends:
County Road 600 South and County Road 700 East
County Road 60 East and 300 South
County Road 100 South and 200 East, and
County Road 180 East and 300 South
“Motorists are reminded that traffic on these county roads will significantly increase during this construction period. The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department will be monitoring traffic in these areas and we urge drivers to be aware of their speed as well as oncoming traffic, which may include large truck traffic,” said Decatur County Sheriff Bill Meyerrose.
