Decatur Co. students invited to veteran walk parade Saturday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – All students in Decatur County are encouraged to take part in a Veteran Parade on Saturday, November 8. 

The ‘Walk With A Hero’ parade will begin at Gilliand-Howe Funeral Home and will go to the courthouse. 

The lineup begins at 10 a.m. and the parade will start at 11 a.m. 

Students are asked to bring a veteran and walk with or ride with them during the parade.

Following the parade, American Legion Post 129 will host a free lunch for veterans at the 326 East Main Street in Greensburg.
