Decatur Co. United Fund adds 3 new board members

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County United Fund has announced three new members to its Board of Directors.


The new members are Chris Bedel, Tony McLaughlin and Laura Walsman. 


Bedel is a South Decatur and Purdue graduate who is the founder of Bedel Security. 


“I appreciate what the United Fund does for our community and I’m honored to get to share my skills and experiences to help in its continued success,” Bedel said. 


McLaughlin is a Greensburg graduate who serves as a Material Manager at Delta Faucet. 


“I am honored to join the United Fund Board and look forward to being more involved in our community.  Excited to work with our current and new directors on the board in supporting the essential programs through the United Fund that makes our community stronger,” McLaughlin said. 


Walsman is the director of Practice Operations and Physician Recruitment at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. The South Decatur and Ball State grad said the United Fund is an instrumental board in the community. 


“I am ready to dive in and learn more about all the wonderful things the United Fund does for our community. I am committed to contributing to the work that has a real, positive impact on our community. I enjoy giving back to a community that I care deeply about,” she said. 


They will join a board that consists of Kristen Fry, Stephanie Kress, Bob Johannigman, Nick Wallpe, Sally Cuskaden, Scott Hadler, Angie Reynolds and Matt Slaven.
