(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Organizers are gearing up for the America 250 celebration in Decatur County.
A parade will be held on July 4 where veterans and active military members will be recognized while riding in a trolley.
“There is room for 60, with each veteran and military member allowed to bring one guest,” organizers said.
Following the parade, there will be a large community photo taken on the west lawn of the courthouse. Residents are encouraged to stop by for the once-in-a-generation photo.
The flags on the courthouse was inspired by a photograph taken in 1918 and they were provided by the Decatur County Community Foundation.
