(DILLSBORO, Ind.) – Two Dillsboro Elementary employees have brought holiday spirit to the job this week.
Gina Oles and Sarah Caudill are the crossing guards and they find a way to have fun while ensuring student safety.
This week, Gina and Sarah could be seen riding Polar Bears while guiding traffic. Students named the bears Elliott and Bob.
Dillsboro Elementary Principal Kyle Miller says the school is extremely grateful to have both of them on the job.
“Gina and Sarah help our students get safely in the door each morning. Each student is greeted by name and with a smile. They make sure everyone feels welcome as they enter our doors. They are friendly, kind, and bring a smile to our students' faces,” Miller said.
