(BRIGHT, Ind.) - An inaugural softball event was held in Bright on Sunday afternoon.
Tiffany Wheeler came up with the idea to host a softball game for moms and ladies who are over 30.
“It started out as mom’s wanting to have a day for us to play because we are all in the thick of parenting and working around our kids schedules,” Wheeler said.
The double-header game was held at Bright Meadows Park on Sunday. Dads grilled out while the kids cheered on their moms.
The Blue Team ended up winning both games against the Red Team.
Wheeler said she hopes to expand this event and have more teams participating in the future.
Tiffany hopes to make this an annual tradition and invite more participants.
