Dillsboro first graders learn about U.S. flag, Pledge of Allegiance

(DILLSBORO, Ind.) – First graders at Dillsboro Elementary received some patriotic lessons this week.
The students were given the opportunity to learn about the Pledge of Allegiance and the meaning behind it.
They also had the chance to raise and lower the flag along with studying how it’s changed since the original 13 colonies.
The school added that the first graders also learned how to care for a flag that is too worn to fly.
