(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A donation drive is underway after a Batesville family was displaced by a house fire on Tuesday night.
The fire occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the basement of a home near Huntersville Road and Pocket Road.
Dunlap Supply in Batesville says one of their employees was impacted by the fire and that the family lost all their belongings.
“While we are beyond grateful that everyone is safe, they could truly use our support as they begin to put the pieces back together,” the company said.
They have launched a clothing drive and are accepting items at their location or at St. Louis School.
Dunlap Supply said the clothing can be set outside their door at 13 South Smith Street if they don't answer the door. You can also donate gift cards or money by messaging the business.
