Donations sought for Lake Santee family who lost home in fire

Fire happened Monday night

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A donation drive is underway after a Lake Santee family was displaced after a house fire on Monday night.

The fire broke out shortly before 8 p.m. and firefighters had a slower than normal response due to the road conditions. The frigid temperatures also hindered firefighting operations.

The family now has an immediate need for clothing, toiletries and other necessities.

Donations are being accepted from 1 to 4PM at the Lake Santee Main Office in the community room.

Here are the clothing sizes that are needed:

Men’s Large shirts – 36/30 pants

Men’s Medium shirts – 30/32 pants

Men’s Extra Large – 38/32 pants

Boy- Boy’s Extra Large

Girl - Size 10 Girls

Teen Girl- Size 4 Small

Dad - 38/32 Extra Large

Mom - 5’2” size 18 extra large
