(LAUREL, Ind.) – The Laurel Hotel restaurant will be continuing their efforts to help those impacted by the floods.
The restaurant was nearly a victim of the flood themselves as the high waters destroyed homes in their same vicinity.
They will be donating 20 percent of their sales back to the community on Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant did the same gesture last weekend and it resulted in nearly $2,000 being donated.
The Laurel Hotel is described as a premier steak and seafood restaurant in the Whitewater Valley. They are also known for their fried chicken.
It is located at 200 Pearl Street in Laurel.
