Fire in Greensburg destroys garage on Monday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Three fire departments responded to a garage fire in Greensburg on Monday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 3 p.m. at a home on County Road 340 North, which is just a few miles from Honda’s plant. 

The smoke could be viewed from I-74 and several miles away from the scene. 

Adams Township, Greensburg and St. Paul firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. 

There were no injuries reported and the garage appears to be totally destroyed. 

A cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
