(OSGOOD, Ind.) – Firefighters responded to a house fire between Osgood and Versailles early Sunday morning.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. at a home on North Hasmer Hill Road.
Osgood firefighters arrived to find flames showing from the roof of the home. The fire appeared to originate in the fireplace.
“Firefighters quickly established a water supply and pulled two pre-connects to battle the fire,” said Osgood Fire Chief Kyle Negangard.
A quick response by firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other areas of the house.
The fire was under control in approximately 30 minutes and there were no injuries.
Versailles Fire and Napoleon Fire also responded. Delaware was called but was disregarded prior to arriving.
Other agencies that assisted include Ripley County EMS and Ripley County Dispatch.
