Firefighters respond to back-to-back brush fires in Sunman

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – Multiple fire departments responded to two different brush fires in the Sunman area on Sunday.
The first fire began around 1:30 p.m. in the 8500 block of East County Road 900 North.
Sunman, Manchester, Milan, Morris and Delaware fire departments each responded to extinguish the field fire.
Not long after leaving the scene, three of those departments were called to another fire.
A brush fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. on Holt Road, which is located between North Hogan Road and North County Line Road.
Manchester, Sunman and Milan fire departments each responded and remain on the scene at the time of this story being published.
It is not believed that the incidents results in any injuries.
