Fireside Inn to offer carry-out orders this weekend

(ENOCHSBURG, Ind.) – A popular destination for fried chicken will be back open for Mother's Day weekend. 

Fireside Inn in Enochsburg wa opened by the Kinker family in 1950 and styed in operation until 2024. They decided to close the restaurant in an effort to spend more time with family.

The restaurant will open for carry-out orders only on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. 

Pre-orders will be accepted Monday through Thursday by calling (812) 934-4174 between the hours of 5-8 p.m. 

The menu consists of a whole chicken for $22, half chicken for $11.50, french fries, fried pickles and cole slaw. 

Carryout hours will be 4-7 p.m. on Friday and 3-7 p.m. on Saturday.
