Five departments fight house fire near St. Leon Thursday night

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – Five fire departments responded to a house fire near St. Leon on Thursday night.
The fire occurred on Cedar Creek Drive which is a dead end road off of State Road 46.
The home was fully engulphed when firefighters arrived. Fortunately, the tenants were able to get out the house and nobody was hurt. Firefighters were on scene from approximately 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Fire departments that responded included St. Leon, Sunman, Miller-York, Morris and Bright.
Sunman EMS and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office were also on scene.
