Several local athletes qualify for IHSAA Track State Championship

Batesville's Ayden Eckstein won the High Jump

(BLOOMINGTON, Ind.) – Several local athletes qualified for the IHSAA Boys Track & FIeld State Championship on Thursday.
During the Bloomington North Regional, Lawrenceburg senior Ryan Hinthorne qualified in the 110 Hurdles.
Milan’s Gabe Riehle also qualified in the 400 Meter.
After the Lawrence Central Regional, Batesville is sending two athletes to state as Jake Chapman qualified in the 800 Meters.
Senior Ayden Eckstein, who recently committed to Marian, had the top score in the High Jump.
East Central is sending three athletes. Will Kemper is going for Shot Put and Discus, Tyler Stenger is going for pole vault and Trevor Perkins will compete in 110M Hurdles.
The IHSAA championship will take place on June 6.
