Flooding in Metamora, Laurel

(METAMORA, Ind.) – The Whitewater River flood has led to flooding in Franklin County today. 

Homes in both Metamora and Laurel are flooded and many roads are impassable. 

More rain is expected tonight which will likely lead to additional flooding. 

U.S. 52 in Metamora was closed Wednesday afternoon due to the rising waters.
