(ENOCHSBURG, Ind.) – The founders of Bohman Tree Farm in Enochsburg are celebrating a milestone anniversary on Thursday!

Mike and Sondra Bohman got married on October 8, 1966 and today marks their 60th anniversary.

“What began as a love story 60 years ago has grown into a beautiful family, countless memories, and a Christmas tree farm that has become a special tradition for so many families over the years,” Bohman Tree Farm said on Facebook.

Mike and Sondra planted the first Christmas tree seedlings in 1968 and the farm opened to the public in 1976.

Bohman Tree Farm has become a holiday destination for families from across the Tri-State and beyond.

One of their Christmas trees were on display at the Indiana Statehouse last year.
