(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Four members of the South Decatur Track & Field team have broken their own record several times this year.
Landan Malone, Jayden Jackson-Ray, Lucas Ballard and Leland Fox set a new school record in 4x100 Relay in April.
A few weeks later, they broke their newly-set record on May 6 and followed that up with an even better time on May 15.
The four runners advanced to the Regionals where they completed the 4x100 Relay in an even faster time this past week. It marked the fourth time this season they have set a new Cougar record.
Prior to the season, the original record was 44:95 and now the new record is 43.75.
