Franklin County under Orange travel watch due to flooding

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Franklin County officials have downgraded the travel warning on Thursday morning.
A Red travel alert was issued late Wednesday night due to the amount of flooding. The red alert means emergency personnel only on roads.
The county is now under an Orange Watch which means only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.
There were several reports of cars in water and flooded basements in Franklin County Wednesday night.
Other counties such as Ripley had numerous reports of flooding and impassable road as well.
