(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A fundraiser is ongoing for a Greensburg boy who suffered serious leg burns.
8-year-old Lincoln Rose had an accident that resulted in second-degree burns to the upper half on one leg on July 23.
Lincoln is currently receiving care in the Burn Unit at Riley Children’s Hospital and will be undergoing surgery for a skin graft.
“His father is a single dad raising two children and, during this difficult time, will be unable to work so he can stay by his son’s side and support him through surgery, recovery, and the days ahead,” organizers said.

A Go Fund Me has been established in an effort to relieve some of the financial strain the family is facing.
