(MOORESVILLE, Ind.) – A fundraiser continues for the family of an Indiana native who made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Epic Fury.
Capt. Seth Koval was one of six Air Force members who were killed when a refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq on Thursday.
The 38-year-old had served in the military for 19 years and leaves behind a wife and young son.
A Go Fund Me was created on Saturday night and it has already generated more than $120,000 as of Monday morning.
“Seth was one of the most generous and kind men we have ever met. He was the ultimate husband and dad. Both his wife and son adored him, and he loved them both so well,” the organizer said.
The organizer added that all funds will go directly to Koval’s wife and son.
"I know his wife personally, am in direct contact with her, and have created this for her and her son’s sole benefit for current and future expenses," he added.
