Proceeds go toward the DCCF Fund for Women and Girls

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Community Foundation (DCCF) will host the Garden Tea Party for a good cause in April.
The Garden Tea Party serves as a fundraiser for DCCF’s Fund for Women and Girls, which was started in 2004 to benefit programs that affect women and children in Decatur County.
“Recipients who have benefited from this fund include groups like New Directions, Decatur County Memorial Hospital’s Mammography Department, the pregnancy care center, and even a scholarship for a local woman returning to school,” said DCCF executive director Tami Wenning.
The event will also include an announcement of three grant recipients along with a presentation from Indianapolis-based company Window Box Gardener.
It will be held at the Woods Event Space beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23.
Tickets for this year’s event are $25 per person, or $175 for a table of 8. Tickets can still be purchased by clicking here or by calling (812) 662-6364.
