Gold Star in Versailles to lose mural as part of remodel

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A popular restaurant in Versailles will be closed for the next several weeks. 

Gold Star Chili is undergoing a remodel to improve their dining experience. 

“So be patient with us for the month of March and when we re-open we will be back better than ever and ready to serve our community,” stated the restaurant on Facebook. 

One part of the remodel that has some unsettled locals is the interior mural. 

The mural will be coming down as part of the process and some have even stopped by to take a photo of it over the past few weeks.

The restaurant is expected to reopen in late March.
