Gov. Braun appoints locals to state boards

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun has selected some local residents to serve on various state boards and commissions. 

Kevin McGuire with Great Plains Communications has been reappointed to the Statewide 911 Board. His term will last until September of 2028. 

Batesville native John Moton has been appointed to the Governor’s Residence Commission and serves at the pleasure of the governor. 

Alan Thorup, of Dearborn County, has been appointed to the State Fair Board through 2029.
