Grant available for projects that help women in Ripley County

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation's Women’s Giving Circle is accepting applications for a grant that helps women.

The Linda S. Phaneuf Women & Children Grant Cycle is for projects that enhance or expand a project or program that directly serves women in vulnerable situations or helps strengthen the family.

The grant is available for nonprofits, educational institutions and government entities.

Applicants can seek up to $2,000 and members of the Women’s Giving Circle will vote on how the funds will be allocated.

The deadline to submit an application is April 6 and you can visit the website here.

This year’s Women in Philanthropy Luncheon will take place on April 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church Hall in Napoleon.

Women of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join the Women’s Giving Circle and attend

the luncheon. Individual memberships are $100 and junior memberships for those under 25-years-old are $50. Organizers added that 75 percent of each membership will go toward grants.
