Grascals earn award for song with Dolly Parton

(NASHVILLE, TN.) – The Grascals are being awarded for their song with the late Dolly Parton.
Last October, Milan native Jamie Johnson and Parton co-wrote the powerful song called ‘Broken Angels.’
The song addresses the struggles of addiction and mental health.
“We wrote this one for love and not awards but so grateful for the voting members and everyone that continues to show us the love back,” Johnson said.
They were awarded the Collaborative Recording of The Year by the International Bluegrass Musical Association on Thursday.
“My humble heart is full. Dolly I love you and seem to miss you more every day. Our message is spreading,” Johnson said.
