(GREENDALE, Ind.) – The Greendale Middle School boys cross county team has earned a second straight conference championship.
The Tigers capped off the season in Greensburg on Monday night.
In addition to the team title, eight boys and two girls have qualified to compete in the Indiana Middle School Cross Country Championships this Saturday in Terre Haute.
“This group has worked hard all season, and it’s exciting to see their efforts rewarded with another conference championship,” said Coach Justin Noppert. “We’re proud of every athlete on this team, and we’re looking forward to seeing what they can accomplish at state.”
Noppert added that the GMS Tigers are now focused on representing their school and community on one of Indiana’s biggest stages for middle school running.
