Greensburg girls wrestling wins first-ever dual meet

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg High School had their first-ever girls dual wrestling meet on Wednesday night.
The first-year program features 10 female wrestlers who are each competing in their first wrestling seasons individually.
They competed at South Dearborn and ended up going 3-0 after defeating Lawrenceburg, Rushville and South Dearborn.
Members of the team include: Kaylynn Root, Mahleiah Orozco, Peyton Powers, Noemy Ramirez, Nevaeh Love, Mackinzi Hollin, Anastasia Ridzon, Jasmin Bailey, Bobbie Westerfeld, Alexa Guerich.
This isn’t the only local team competing in their first-ever season as South Dearborn kicked off their inaugural season with success earlier this fall.
