Several softball players continue to lead Indiana in stats

(MILAN, Ind.) – Several local softball players are leading all of Indiana when it comes to certain stats.
On the pitching side, East Central’s Paige Hotze continues to lead the entire state with a 0.00 ERA. She is 4-0 and hasn’t given up a run in five appearances.
Milan senior Kynadee Bode is dominating on the pitching mound this year as well.
She has struck out 107 batters which is best in the state. She has nearly 30 more punchouts than the second-ranked pitcher in the state.
The Illinois-Chicago commit also leads all of Indiana with 12 wins on the mound. That is 5 more wins than the pitcher in second place.
Bode’s teammate, Emma Voss, will also play college softball and she is leading all of Indiana with 25 runs scored. Voss is also second in the state with 16 stolen bases.
Some other top performers include Batesville’s Caitlyn Fox who is fourth in Indiana in slugging percentage. Milan’s Mckenna Eaglin is also in the top 5 in categories such as runs scored and RBI.
Baseball
South Dearborn’s Dakota Cochran is currently among the best in the state in fielding percentage, as he has not made one error yet.
