Greensburg grad joins police department in Northern Kentucky

(COVINGTON, KY.) – A Greensburg native has been sworn in to the Covington Police Department. 

Colton Williams is one of three officers who were officially welcomed into the department last week. 

Williams is a graduate of Greensburg High School who also earned a business degree from Trine University. 

He will now begin the Basic Training Academy in Richmond, Kentucky. The program includes weeks of online, in-house, and extensive in-person instruction. 

Following graduation, Williams will enter Covington’s 20-week Field Training Program, where he will receive hands-on experience alongside veteran officers.
