Greensburg library hosting teen events in February

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Greensburg Decatur County Public Library will host several events for their Teen Librarian series in February. Hee’s the schedule:
PRISM Club (Monday, February 2nd @ 4 PM) – What comes to mind when you say prism? RAINBOWS! Come create your own colorful rainbow artwork at PRISM Club! Projects. Relationships. Interest. Socializing. Motivating.
Supplies provided. Registration required.
Take-N-Make: Heart Top Trinket Box (Thursday, February 5th – ALL DAY) – Stop by the Teen Studio and pick up instructions to create this cute box to gift to someone special! All day while supplies last. No registration needed.
LEGO Club (Monday, February 9th @ 4 PM) – Calling all Master Builders!! Drop into the LEGO Club to build your own mini creatures with so many to choose from! You’re never too old for Legos! Kits provided. Registration required.
Westport Wonders: Valentines (Thursday, February 12th @ 5 PM | Westport Branch Library) – Join us at the Westport Branch Library to make your someone special a valentine! Supplies provided. Registration required.
Teen Mindfulness: Vision Board (Monday, February 16th @ 4 PM) – It’s a new year, and we’ve all changed. Come spend the afternoon with us and create your vision board for you! What do you want to achieve, become, dream of for your future? Vision boards provide an inspirational roadmap to help you realize your goals and keep you focused on the you that you want to be. Supplies provided. Registration required.
Recipe Corner: Share-N-Take (Thursday, February 19th – ALL DAY) – Do you enjoy cooking? Want to start collecting recipes? Maybe try something NEW? Drop by the Teen Studio and check out what recipes other teens have left and pick up a recipe you want to try!
Leave one. Take one. Recipe cards provided. No registration necessary.
Teen programs are for students in grades 6-12. Registration is required.
TEEN & TWEEN Program: CHESS Club (Monday, February 23rd @ 4 PM) – Can you play chess? Want to learn how? Explore the world of chess, learn to play, and have fun! Play one of the oldest and most popular board games, build confidence, patience, and expand your social and critical thinking skills. There is no formal instruction for this program. Supplies provided. Registration required. Tween and teen programs are for students in grades 4-12.
