Announced by Governor Braun on Saturday

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Greensburg resident Anthony Scott will be taking on additional duties within Indiana state government.
Scott has served as the Superintendent of the Indiana State Police since January.
On Saturday, Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced that Scott will become the state's next Secretary of Public Safety.
The governor added that Scott will continue his role as the top official with ISP.
“He will continue his strong and effective leadership of the Indiana State Police as Superintendent. Hoosiers will be safe with Anthony and the State Police setting the tone for all state government public safety agencies,” Governor Braun said.
Jennifer-Ruth Green previously served as Indiana Secretary of Public Safety. The reason for her departure is not yet known.
“I want to thank Jennifer-Ruth Green for her service in my cabinet. She was a part of a transformative time in Indiana’s history and we wish her the best of luck on her next endeavors,” Governor Braun said.
