Greensburg, South Decatur semi-state pairings announced

Games will be played this Saturday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg and South Decatur have both earned a trip to the IHSAA Girls Basketball Semi-State this coming weekend.

Greensburg beat Washington and South Decatur upset Oldenburg on Saturday to each advance. 

The Semi-State drawing was held on Sunday afternoon. 

The undefeated Greensburg Lady Pirates will face 23-4 Evansville Central in New Albany at 12 p.m. Saturday, February 22. 

If Greensburg wins, they will face either Roncalli or Cathedral that night in the Semi-State championship. 

South Decatur’s Semi-State will take place in Shelbyville. 

The Cougars will face 21-5 Borden at 10 a.m. Saturday. If they win, the next opponent will be either Anderson Prep Academy or Northeast Dubois that evening.
