Greensburg standout softball player will transfer to Oklahoma State

Entered transfer portal after playing at IU, Ohio State

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg grad Melina Wilkison is joining the Oklahoma State softball team!
Wilkison began her softball career at Ohio State where she led the Buckeyes in batting average, hits, RBI, home runs and stolen bases her sophomore year.
She suffered a season-ending injury her junior year and later transferred to Indiana University where she played this past spring.
Wilkison posted a .329 batting average with 7 home runs, 41 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases for the Hoosiers.
She entered the transfer portal after the season and considered several universities before announcing her transfer to Oklahoma State on Wednesday night.
The Cowgirls had a 35-20 record this past season and lost to Arkansas in the Regional round of the Division 1 College Softball World Series.
