(FRIENDSHIP, Ind.) – Nobody was hurt after a camper caught fire in Friendship on Sunday morning.
The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Friendship Road.
Friendship firefighters arrived to find the camper fully engulfed in flames and already collapsed. Crews used about 500 gallons of water to fully extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters say it began by high winds that blew embers from a nearby burn barrel.
The Friendship Fire Department is encouraging residents to be aware of open burning over the next few days due to the high winds
