Hilltop Restaurant in Brookville under new ownership

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Hilltop Restaurant in Brookville is now under new ownership. 

Brandon Ball was just 23-years-old with no restaurant experience when he took over the business nearly 5 years ago. 

“With zero experience, I hit the ground running learning (more than I bargained for) about resilience, leadership, and what it truly means to pour your heart into something,” Ball said. 

He also credits the community for supporting the business while also acknowledging the staff and vendors. 

“This community showed up, again and again, through packed weekends, slow winters, a full rebuild on the outside of the building, and every season in between,” he said. 

Ball announced Friday that Hilltop is now under the ownership of Rachel and Nick Vanoven. 

The Vanovens moved to Brookville several years ago and restored a Victorian home on Main Street. Rachel is also a professional photographer and business mentor.
