History In The 812: Kid McCoy

Quite an interesting life!

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Longtime Greensburg history teacher John Pratt is back with another edition of History In The 812. 

Norman Selby was born in 1872 in Rush County and would later become known as Kid McCoy. 

Calling his life “unique” may not do it justice. 

He was a famous boxer and later became an actor. He was also charged with murder!
