Holton woman hospitalized after UTV, truck crash near Osgood Saturday

She was flown to Cincinnati hospital

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A Holton woman is hospitalized after a crash involving a UTV and pickup truck near Osgood on Saturday night.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on North Old Michigan Road near West County Road 325 North.
Ripley County deputies say 49-year-old Brandi Eaton was driving a Polaris Ranger that crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.
Eaton was trapped inside the off-road vehicle and later flown to a Cincinnati hospital. Her current condition is not known.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
North Old Michigan Road was closed for three-and-a-half hours due to the investigation and cleanup.
Deputies added that they believe alcohol is a contributing factor of the crash.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Ripley County EMS, Osgood Fire, Napoleon Fire, Indiana DNR and PHI Air Medical.
