How to help Franklin Co. flood victims financially

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Homes are destroyed and lives have been turned upside down following this week’s Whitewater River flood in Franklin County.

The 100-year flood reached homes that have never been impacted by flooding in communities such as Metamora and Laurel.

The governor has already declared a statewide disaster emergency as well as a Presidential Emergency Declaration through FEMA.

There have now been two verified ways that financial contributions can be made.

These organizations are helping provide trusted, local ways to support the needs of our community as we move from the immediate response into recovery and cleanup,” said Franklin County EMA.
