(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Indiana Governor Mike Braun recently visited Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
The governor and hospital leaders discussed the future of healthcare, controlling healthcare costs, and the importance of supporting rural communities.
“Having the opportunity for our team to share our progress and challenges directly with Governor Braun reinforces our work matters, not only here in Decatur County but also at the state level,” said Rex McKinney, President & CEO of DCMH. “We are proud of the strong partnerships that help us deliver on our mission of providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.”
During the visit, DCMH leaders emphasized their focus on workforce development, expanding services and access, investing in technology, and supporting the well-being of the community beyond the hospital walls.
“DCMH is more than a hospital; we are a partner in building a healthier future for our families, neighbors, and community,” added McKinney. “We are thankful for the opportunity to share our work and priorities directly with Governor Braun and for his continued support of community healthcare.”
