INDOT adding safety measure at S.R. 3 near Freeland Road

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation is making a safety improvement on State Road 3 in Decatur County.

They will install delineators, which are guide posts, along the northbound lane of the highway near the intersection of Freeland Road. 

“Delineator installation will address safety concerns at this location. These installations will also include tuff curb installation,” INDOT officials said. 

The installation comes after a man was fatally struck by a semi in that area back in March. 

INDOT officials say the the dileneators will be installed around Septemer 14.
